“Nothing Is Flat” is an artwork that invites the spectator to reflect over itself and the world around it. The title suggests the presence of the tensions inherent to the dialectic nature of the image and from the human being itself, with its multiple layers of meaning. The matter is used as base for an enveloping sensorial experience, in which the observer is instigated to adopt different corporal postures, exploring different angles and perspectives to contemplate the artwork in both, the surrounding space and its interior. The presence of a glass bubble with undulations around the flat image adds a dimension to this gestural dynamics, inviting the spectator to explore the distortions and reflexes created by the interaction between the image and the surrounding space.
